Ep. 0064: One Year Anniversary of the Dangerous History Podcast
On June 9th, 2014, the world changed in the profound way that it usually only does once every millennium or so, because this was the day that the Dangerous History Podcast was born.
Today we turn retrospective & introspective and take a look at where this podcast has been & where it’s going.

- Some words of hope that, if I can do what I’ve done so far (despite not being a naturally tech-savvy person), you can learn whatever it is you need to learn to do whatever it is you’d like to do!

- Something I meant to mention on the podcast but forgot (thanks to lack of notes) was to thank Michael W. Dean for putting out great audio tips at Creamy Radio Audio (& thanks to Ben Stone for tipping me off to it!) This site is chock-full of great tips for anyone who’s interested in podcasting or other DIY media projects, and it’s helped me improve my audio quality despite my scanty budget.

What an enlightening podcast. I feel I have learned more history but more importantly, history that has been deliberately withheld from me throughout my school years. Profcj has been a lighthouse for me in finding about not only our past , but our future as well.

I just found out about your podcast a few weeks ago and just got caught up listening to all of them. It is nice to hear about history from a liberty oriented perspective. The government youth indoctrination center I attended never taught me any of this. Keep up the good work.

I was thinking with the American Revolution series that your podcast is coming closer to the quality of Dan Carlin’s Hard Core History. Of course, he is working full time on his. I’ll definitely pitch in towards the end of the year after I pay off some debt. Coming off a 5 year self-funded “sabbatical”; so a little short on cash right now! Really enjoying your podcast!

Thanks, glad you like the show. I actually may do one relatively soon about the Calusa, one of the original tribes of Florida. I find them fascinating, in part because they’re one of the few tribes to create a large, sophisticated, & settled society with virtually no agriculture. I agree that those you mentioned are fascinating as well.
Yeah, a lot of folks found my show via TSP. It was a great opportunity for exposure to lots of people who’d be amenable to the themes of the Dangerous History Podcast.
